This 3D scene is used for an educational movie about health and safety by Inowa Peter Zeller Multi-Media + AV-Technik.

I modelled everything in Wings3D using photos as reference. For cloth simulation, shading, unwrapping, texturing, lighting, compositing and rendering I used Blender.

The following is an animation test to check that the materials render correctly and the motion blur and depth of field effects give the desired results:

I’ve posted this as WIP at pixelbrush and I’d like to thank everyone there who suported me, especially zephyri.
Thanks goes also to Izzy who kindly improved the eyes of the girl and my own logo , to Phil who somehow never gets tired of giving useful critique and of course to Pablo and Jet Coray for entrusting me with this challenging task.

Images 01, 03 and 04: I did all models in nice quads, and also mapping, texturing, shading, lighting and rigging. The animation shows the rig in action.

Image 02: I mapped, textured, shaded and lighted the scene.

The client wanted the black background and I didn’t have an HDRI to lighten the scene. Consedering this I think I managed fine. The shadows could be better though…
