Privacy Policy — RelationaList
RelationaList is built to protect your privacy and dignity. Your relationship data is personal, and it stays yours.
Data we collect
- RelationaList does not collect analytics about your relationship content.
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not use advertising identifiers.
- We do not profile you.
Where your data is stored
- RelationaList is local-first. Your connections, notes, reminders, gatherings, and gift history are stored on your device using Apple’s on-device storage (Core Data / SQLite).
- Your data is not uploaded to our servers by default.
Optional permissions
You can use RelationaList without granting optional permissions. If you enable them, they are used only to provide the feature:
- Contacts: Only used if you choose to import people from iOS Contacts. Imported contact data is saved locally in your database.
- Calendar: Only used if you choose to add a moment, gathering, or reminder to your calendar.
- Notifications: Used to deliver gentle reminders. You can choose a privacy mode (show name, hide details, or disable).
- Spotlight Search: If enabled, RelationaList indexes names only so you can find people via iOS Search. Notes and details are not indexed.
- Siri & Shortcuts: Optional. When enabled, Siri can help open a connection or start logging a moment. You can disable this anytime.
Security
- You can enable Face ID / Touch ID / Passcode to lock the app.
- When lock is enabled, the app helps keep sensitive information private.
Backups & export
- You can export your data as JSON at any time.
- Imports/exports are initiated by you and are meant to preserve your data ownership.
Your choices
- You can edit, archive, memorialize, or delete connections at any time.
- You can disable permissions (Contacts, Calendar, Notifications, Spotlight, Siri) in iOS Settings.
